INTRODUCTION
MAIN VALVES, TYPE MFR 1 AND MFR 3
Main valve type MFR is specially developed to regulate pressure and temperature in refrigeration, freezing and air conditioning plants with fluorinated refrigerants and ammonia. MFR is a pilot operated main valve with screwed-in pilot valves or pilot valves mounted in an external pilot line. Main valves type MFR are used in refrigeration plant with dry evaporation, pump circulation, natural circulation. The regulator is available in two variants, MFR 1and MFR 3. MFR 1 is designed to accept one pilot valve either screwed-in or mounted in an external pilot line. MFR 3 will accept three screwed-in pilot valves or pilot valves mounted in an external pilot line. Thus several functions can be performed by the same valve.
NOTE:- MFR Pressure And Temperature Regulating Valves are upgraded design version of old SPM series. The dimensions and fitting connections for both valves are same. The MFR can be used as drop in replacement for SPM series. The pressure rating of MFR is 55 bar where as old SPM was 28 bar.
