INTRODUCTION
The Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TEV) controls the flow of liquid refrigerant entering the direct expansion (DX) evaporators maintaining a constant super heat of the refrigerant vapour at the outlet of the evaporator. Type SVE2,3,4,5,8,10 are external equaliser with solder connections. Type HVE 7,11,16,20, MVE21,34,42 VVE52,70,100 are external equaliser with weldable flange connection. Various ranges of the power assembly are available from +20 to -40°C
